The Minimum Weight cut is a straight taper which is well suited to hammock users (both as top or underquilt), back sleepers, and users who have a slim or athletic build. 48"head tapering to 38"foot.

 

The Maximum Coverage cut is a half taper and is best suited to larger users who sleep either in a hammock or on a ground pad, side sleepers, and users that toss and turn in the night.  56" head half tapered to 42" foot.

Standard Features

20" zippered drawcorded footbox.  Reversible non-locking slider allows the quilt to be used the same if either the shell or liner is facing out and if you toss and turn with a lot of force the zipper snap will open and the slider slide before any damage can be done to your quilt.

 

Footbox extension snaps at 6" and 12" above the footbox can close the quilt around you for better draft control or can be opened for greater freedom of movement

 

3 removable elastic under-cords to pull the sides of the quilt around you when needed, or leave them at home if you don't need them.

Neck snap and drawcord to pull the quilt tight around you when the temps really drop

Our quilts come in 3 lengths to accommodate users of most heights.

· 72" for users upto 5'6" tall

· 78" for users upto 6' tall

· 84" for users upto 6'6" tall

We offer all quilts in two widths to cover all user sizes and application uses

Custom sizing can be done at an approximate 10% premium in cost.

KARO Step Baffles

KARO baffles create boxes instead of tubes to not only control the shifting of the down head to foot, as tubes do, but also side to side.  The difference between KARO baffling and box baffling is that the KARO baffles have gaps in each corner of the box allowing you to move the down from box to box.  This is yet another way you can fine tune the warmth of your quilt.  If your feet are overheating a few pats move some down toward the chest allowing your feet to be more comfortable.  The down can easily be moved by massaging it around within the quilt to anywhere you want it, but once there the box shape of the KARO STEP baffles keep it where you want it.
